Job Description: As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including residential care homes, hospitals, or private homes. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and providing companionship, all while ensuring the dignity and comfort of those in your care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Help patients with mobility and transferring between beds and chairs

• Support patients with feeding and drinking

• Monitor and record patients' physical and emotional well-being

• Assist with administering medication (under supervision)

• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

• Maintain accurate patient records and report any concerns to a supervisor

• Follow care plans and ensure health and safety protocols are followed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a healthcare or care assistant role is preferred but not essential

• Training Certificates in Health and Social Care is advantageous

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and caring nature

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Right to work in the UK

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
